$500 Art Scholarship Offered for Phoenix Area High School Students by Local Author |

High School Students in Phoenix and Suburbs can apply to win the $500 scholarship and be named illustrator for a children's book. |

Gilbert, AZ - Local author, Bob Wilson, is pleased to announce a $500 scholarship for High School Art Students in Phoenix and the surrounding suburbs.
For the Jumpstart Your Art Scholarship, three finalists will be selected. The winner will receive $500 and be named the illustrator for the print version of Wilson's children's book: Woody Two Shoes.
The other finalists will receive $75 each.
The deadline for entry is November 30, 2016. There is a $5 entry fee.
"I am thrilled to offer this scholarship for local high school art students as a way to get their art out there by becoming the illustrator of a children's book. They get the exposure, experience and the scholarship monies. I get to help an aspiring artist showcase their work and lend their talents to my story," says Wilson.
