18th Annual Christmas Toy Drive: Woodhouse Group Charity Event |

Woodhouse Group participated in charity event & is proud to contribute for great cause in KW community. We have organized & donated $30,000 to local churches, hospitals & to people who are in need. |

Kitchener, Ontario - Throughout our years as a business in the KW community, we have had the good fortune of being part of a number of great charitable causes. Whether participating in the Ride for Dad, Lobster for Cancer, the Breast Cancer Fundraiser, Woodhouse Group is always a proud contributor to these great causes in the KW community. We at Woodhouse Group have also undertaken our own annual charity event, the Christmas Toy Drive.
For the 18th consecutive year, along with Larry Kelly, Woodhouse Group has put forth their best effort to ensure that every child gets a toy during Christmas. With the help ofLarry, and major sponsors; BLM, Donovan Insurance, and Will-O homes, Woodhouse Group has donated $30,000 worth of toys to various local churches, hospitals and charities. Larry and the Woodhouse Group have purchased Hot Wheels, Barbie's, Puzzles and many other toys for children of all age groups. With the generous donation of an Avis-Budget Rental Truck, we have transported the toys throughout KW community where they were distributed to children in need. With the continued generosity of sponsors, and the growing enthusiasm of the project, Larry and the Woodhouse Group plan on continuing the tradition for years to come.
Woodhouse Group spent the week before Christmas picking up toys that were purchased and delivering them to the KW hospital and the Salvation Army. With the help of many volunteers and sponsors, Larry and the Woodhouse Group were able to put smiles on the faces of many children in need. We hope that next year is more successful than the last. |
