3rd Annual World Shale global gathering returns to Houston |

Senior-level delegations from the international shale oil and gas industry will once again gather in Houston, Texas for the 3rd Annual World Shale Conference & Exhibition on the 17-21 September 2012. |

The event, organized by the CWC Group, is co-hosted by the American Gas Association and co-sponsored by the International Gas Union.
Following the unprecedented success of the last 2 years, World Shale will provide a platform for representatives from the industry to meet and discuss strategies to drive forward the shale development in North America and internationally. Featuring speakers from the likes of the International Energy Agency, BHP Billiton Petroleum, Methanex Corporation, Mitsui E&P USA LLC, Americas Petrogas Inc, and Saudi Aramco, the programme offers delegates a holistic view of the many commercial opportunities and challenges faced across the shale oil and gas value chain globally.
As noted by Torstein Indrebø, Secretary General of the International Gas Union, "Now expanded to cover both shale oil and gas, the World Shale conference is a great chance for all of the key players and stakeholders to come together, not only to keep up to date on shale developments around the globe but also to form new partnerships and share experiences."
