James Rebhorn, the veteran actor that graced the screens in hits like "Homeland," "White Collar" and "Meet the Parents," died on Friday at 65 from cancer. But before sucumbing to the disease, Rebhorn penned his own obituary.
Rebhorn was inspired by his last theater role, where his character was featured alongside another character who didn't like obits she found in the paper, so she wrote her own, his agent, Dianne Busch told the Hollywood Reporter.
"Jim died from melanoma, which was diagnosed in 1992. He has been fighting it all this time," Busch told ABC News.
St. Paul Lutheran Church, where the actor was a longtime member, published the obit yesterday titled, "His Life, According to Jim." |
