Automated Healthcare System for Veterans by Inovar |

A US Based start-up gave Inovar a unique challenge to create a platform to help the US Veterans, get the care that they need. |

There have been huge investments from the federal government and many other veterans' care facilities. But unfortunately, the adoption and usage of those facilities were drastically reduced due to the non-availability of means to connect the veterans with the care providers. Moreover, when they needed the care providers the most, there was no easy way for them to connect.
Armed with the mission statement of "No Veteran left behind", we helped create a personalized, veteran centric platform which will help them overcome the barriers of the current process.
While working, we understood that creating a real-time link between the Veteran and the care providers was of utmost importance as time was of the essence. Additionally, we had to ensure that the system was easily accessible for people who were not in their best of health. Any delay in communication or action to those requests could become a life-threatening situation for the Veteran.
Inovar, with its team of architects, was engaged to find out the best possible solution that could be provided for this challenge. We looked at many different scenarios and implementations of the solution along with our team of in-house architects.
We proposed a cloud-based system with mobile apps and ensured all the security standards by starting our security lifestyle at a very early stage. Data storage was another key component that we had to design for which we proposed a blockchain technology. This would ensure secure data and file storage and also track the sharing of data. In order to showcase the data, we used PowerBi to create a dashboard of reports consisting of various parameters.
The solution immediately impressed many of the stakeholders, some of which included Veteran clinics and care providers. We ran a few surveys and got great remarks from various veterans. We started piloting the system on the east coast to start with and a demo was conducted at the White House, which accrued a lot of appreciation.
