Beady AI Automates KYB Checks for Compliance and Procurement Teams

Beady AI has made its KYB automation service available, giving compliance and procurement teams a faster way to verify companies, identify their real owners and screen them for sanctions, court cases and negative news.
Beady AI, a risk intelligence platform built by We Good Solutions Limited, has made its KYB automation service available to compliance, procurement and investment teams. The service confirms a company is real, identifies who owns it and screens it for risk using public data, with no documents required.

Know Your Business checks are a legal requirement in finance and many regulated sectors. In most firms they are still done by hand. An analyst pulls registry filings, follows ownership through holding companies in different countries and runs each name against sanctions lists. One company can take days, sometimes weeks. Once approved, it is rarely looked at again.

Beady runs those steps automatically and returns results in minutes. It confirms registration details against official registries and maps ownership using a database of more than 200 million entities and officers. The company and the people behind it are then screened against sanctions lists from OFAC, the EU, the UN and the UK’s HMT, along with court records and news coverage from over 100,000 sources.

Name matching is usually where screening creates the most extra work. Beady’s AI looks at the context of each hit to decide whether it refers to the right entity, which the company says removes up to 95% of false positives. Each finding carries a link to the record it came from.

“The name on the registration is usually the least interesting part of a company,” a Beady AI spokesperson said. “What compliance teams need to know is who sits behind it, and whether that has changed since anyone last checked.”

Companies under monitoring are rescreened every day, and a new sanction, lawsuit or ownership change is flagged within hours. Alerts can be sent through messaging apps, and findings can be collected into reports for auditors.

The service is aimed at fintechs, investment funds, law firms, banks and procurement departments. More information is available on the KYB automation service page.
