Berger Organization Plans Broker Open House at 570 Broad

Jets Linebacker Calvin Pace will be Guest of Honor at Event in Newark.
New York Jets Linebacker Calvin Pace will be the guest of honor during a broker open house at The Berger Organization's 570 Broad office tower in Newark. The event, slated from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6, will feature tours; a buffet lunch; and a raffle to win a personalized jersey or football, iPad2, or one of three iPods.

Brokers interested in attending must RSVP to rjohnson@bergerorg.com and should bring their business card to enter the raffle. Free parking is available.

The Berger Organization purchased a controlling interest in 570 Broad Street LLC, a partnership, earlier this year, and is managing and operating the property. Originally constructed in 1960, the 15-story building offers 200,000 square feet of office space with ground-floor retail space. Existing tenants include State Farm Insurance, Chase Manhattan, Atlantic Federal Credit Union, PC Tech, and LycaTech.

Full floors, divisible to 2,500 square feet, are currently available. Over the past year, 570 Broad Street LLC has updated the office spaces with the latest technology, installed new state-of-the-art high-speed elevators, HVAC and security systems, and high-speed fiber-optics. Ongoing plans call for a parking element with one space per 1,000 square feet, a conference room for use by tenants, and a fitness center for tenants and their employees.

Located across from Newark's Washington Square Park, 570 Broad Street is a short distance from transit hubs Newark Penn Station and Broad Street Station, local university campuses, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, and the Prudential Center.
