(the "Company") announces that today the Company acquired ownership by way of a private placement of 57,009,346 common shares (the "Shares") of Aura Minerals Inc. ("Aura Minerals") at a price of $0.107 per Share for an aggregate consideration of $6,100,000 (the "Transaction").
