Sandstorm Gold Completes CDN $150 Million Bought Deal Financing |

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 7, 2012) - Sandstorm Gold Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SSL)(NYSE MKT:SAND)(NYSE Amex:SAND) ("Sandstorm" or the "Company") has completed its previously announced bought deal financing, including the full amount of the over-allotment option, for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately Cdn $150 million. A syndicate of underwriters purchased an aggregate of 15,007,500 units of Sandstorm at a purchase price of Cdn $10.00 per unit. Each unit consists of one common share of Sandstorm and one third of one common share purchase warrant. Each whole common share purchase warrant entitles the holder to acquire one common share of Sandstorm at a price of US$14.00 at any time prior to September 7, 2017. |

HudBay Announces Pricing for US$500,000,000 Senior Unsecured Notes |

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 6, 2012) - HudBay Minerals Inc. ("Hudbay" or the "company") (TSX:HBM)(NYSE:HBM) today announced that it has priced an offering of US$500 million aggregate principal amount of 9.50% senior unsecured notes due 2020 (the "Notes"). In response to the market reception for the offering, the company upsized the offering from US$400 million to US$500 million. The Notes were priced at 100 percent of the aggregate principal amount, providing the company with gross proceeds of US$500 million and will yield 9.50 percent to maturity.
