RALEIGH, N.C. - The Entrepreneur's Source® (E-Source), the franchise industry's leading career and business coaching company, named Daniel Prendergast its Franchisee of the Year at the company's recent Annual Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Recognized for his outstanding achievements during the past year, the award acknowledges Prendergast's excellence in maintaining strong client-coach relationships and having a clear understanding of the important role he plays in helping his clients reach their dreams.
"Daniel's unwavering determination is an inspiration to all of the clients he works with," said Brian Miller, chief operating officer of E-Source. Bringing more than 20 years of business experience to his practice, Prendergast has worked for high-profile companies, including Marriott Hotels International, where he moved up from a front desk position to general manager. While with Marriott, he opened five hotels and directed a team of 100 people. In addition to receiving Franchisee of the Year, Prendergast was awarded E-Source's 2012 Top Performer of the Year, for having the highest number of clients with the largest revenue generation in the system for a single unit.
"Starting my own business has been one of my greatest professional accomplishments," said Prendergast, who has been an E-Source business coach since October 2008. "I have poured my heart and soul into this business and take great pride in getting to know each and every client in order to help them achieve their Income, Lifestyle, Wealth and Equity goals while making their best next career move. I enjoy having the ability to help individuals who share the same determination as I do. I help my clients become what they aspire to become. In essence, I help them work on something we call 'You 2.0®'. In addition to owning his own business, Prendergast is very active in his community. He is involved in a local faith-based group organization aimed at helping the unemployed find jobs. He is also a member of two local Chambers of Commerce and runs his own Professionals in Transition group with a business partner.
