ST. JOHN'S, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR--(Marketwired - July 7, 2017) - Fortis Inc. ("Fortis" or the "Corporation") (TSX:FTS)(NYSE:FTS) announced today the closing and results of its offer to exchange (the "Exchange Offer") US$2.0 billion aggregate principal amount of its new senior unsecured notes (the "New Notes") registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act") for a like principal amount of its outstanding unregistered senior unsecured notes (the "Old Notes"). |
