About Genevieve R. Walser-Jolly
Genevieve Walser-Jolly represents financial institutions. Her practice includes complex litigation in representing auto finance companies victimized by sophisticated fraud rings and in defending consumer class actions under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) on a nationwide basis. She also handles litigation involving Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), forward paying mortgage loans, and has a niche practice involving reverse mortgage loans. Ms. Walser-Jolly recently published The Effect of the FDCPA’s “Consumer Limitation on Class Certification: Do Courts Apply Different Standards in Individual and Class Actions? 70 Conf. on Cons. Fin. L. Q. pp. 172-179 (Fall 2017) (with Scott J. Hyman).
