Tokyo -- Hitachi, Ltd. (NYSE:HIT / TSE:6501) today announced its consolidated financial results for the second quarter of fiscal 2010, ended September 30, 2010.
1. All figures, except for te outlook for fiscal 2010, were converted at the rate of 84 yen to the U.S. dollar, the approximate exchange rate on the Tokyo Foreign Exchange Market as of September 30, 2010.
2. Operating income (loss) is presented in accordance with financial reporting principles and practices generally accepted in Japan.
