Honeypotz, a cybersecurity startup based in the United States, has joined FasterCapital’s LaunchUp program as it works to raise $3M in funding. Founded by Vlad Lialine, Honeypotz is developing a confidential computing platform designed to protect data, applications, and storage directly at the CPU level, offering a robust solution to the escalating problem of insider threats.
While most cybersecurity strategies remain focused on external attacks, insider threats have surged in recent years and now account for 43% of all data breaches. Honeypotz addresses this overlooked yet critical vulnerability by enabling enterprises to secure sensitive information against unauthorized access from within their own networks.
FasterCapital welcomed Honeypotz into its LaunchUp program, which supports promising early-stage startups with a combination of funding assistance, mentorship, and market access.
