India Extends Due Date for Filing E-forms 23AC (Non-XBRL) and 23ACA (Non-XBRL)

India has extended the due date for filing of e-form 23AC (Non-XBRL) and 23ACA (Non XBRL) with the issuance of General Circular No.38/2012 dated November 23, 2012.
Sunnyvale, CA - As per the new schedule VI, the due date has been extended for:

Companies holding annual general meeting (AGM) or whose due date for holding AGM is on or before September 20, 2012, the deadline will be November 3rd,2012 or due date of filing, whichever is later.

Companies holding AGM or whose due date for holding AGM is on or after September 21, 2012, the deadline will be November 24,2012 or due date of filing, whichever is later.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has also extended the filing of e-form 23B without any extra fee till December 23, 2012 or due date of filing, whichever is later.

Companies are advised to file the e-form 23B well in time to avoid a system overload.
