M.P. Ganesan recently unveiled his soon to be launched eReceipt Patravaravu apps for retailers and executives. The app empowers key stakeholders in any business by allowing them to view invoices and feed payments locally, anytime and anywhere. The app also minimizes human errors in payments and dispenses the need for physical ledgers as all the expenses and collections are recorded online.
“Retailers often have a difficult time managing their operations and payments manually. Similarly, executives and salesmen have trouble keeping track of collections physically, leading to accounting mistakes that can prove to be costly for any business. So, we designed the Patravaravu app to facilitate seamless transactions and error-free accounting by enabling invoice management on mobile,” explains M.P. Ganesan, General manager, Elango Medicals.
Key features of the eReceipt apps:
There are two versions of the eReceipt Patravaravu app – one for the retailer and the other for salesmen or executives. To start with, a wholesaler must contact the Super Admin to have their Wholesaler account created. Once this is done, the wholesaler can add one or more retailers and executives (or salesmen) to carry out seamless transactions. Once added, retailers and executives receive a download link and can create their respective profiles on the app.
Work seamlessly – In addition to adding retailers, the wholesaler can also add executives or salesmen who work for him and the executive gets his own app to manage payments. Now, each time a retailer purchases any item from the wholesaler, to avoid human error, the invoice or bill is uploaded to both the retailer and executive apps so that payment collection is easier without the need of any physical ledgers.
Collection process – Using the Patravaravu app, the retailer can see the amount it owes for each trade and pay it directly to the executive without the need of any physical invoice as the executive would update the payment received on the app in real time. Once this is done, both the retailer and the wholesaler receive a message to download the payment receipt that is centrally stored and can be accessed at any time.
“The Patravaravu app dispenses away with physical invoices, making it possible for all the three parties involved in a business to ensure error-free invoice management at any scale,” says M.P. Ganesan. “There is no need to break your head to reconcile accounts at tax time anymore. With Patravaravu, there is no scope of human error as businesses do not need to maintain any physical ledgers or keep track of cumbersome paper invoices anymore.”
