Methanex Announces Sale of US$300 Million 10-Year Notes and US$300 Million 30-Year Notes |

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Nov. 13, 2014) - Methanex Corporation (TSX:MX)(NASDAQ:MEOH) announced today that it has priced two offerings of senior unsecured notes. Methanex will issue US$300 million in aggregate principal amount of 4.25% senior notes due December 1, 2024 and US$300 million in aggregate principal amount of 5.65% senior notes due December 1, 2044. The 2024 notes were issued at a price of 99.497% of the aggregate principal amount, with an effective yield to maturity of 4.312%, and the 2044 notes were issued at a price of 99.353% of the aggregate principal amount, with an effective yield to maturity of 5.695%. The offerings are expected to close on or about November 18, 2014, subject to customary closing conditions. |
