North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association Celebrates Annual Veterinarians' Day At The Capitol |

Event To Bring Together Veterinarians And State Legislators. |

The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (http://www.ncvma.org/) will host its third annual Veterinarians' Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, April 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the auditorium of the Legislative Building located at 16 W. Jones St. The event will bring together state legislators and veterinarians in various practices from across the state to create awareness of current issues affecting the veterinary profession.

"Veterinarians' Day at the Capitol is a wonderful opportunity for veterinarians and state legislators to come together and discuss animal welfare policy," said Claire Holley, executive director of the NCVMA. "The NCVMA encourages all members of the veterinary profession to attend this year's event to learn from each other and the state, as well as to become engaged firsthand in the legislative process."
