The Paret Group makes huge investment in first oil refinery to be built in Haiti. The refinery will process 5,000 barrels per day of light crude oil. Refined products such as gasoline , diesel , propane and asphalt will be produced daily. Founders of the Paret Group Fritz Paret and Emmanuel Paret are also the largest shareholders and founders of Paret Petroleum S.A. an oil & gas exploration company drilling for oil in Haiti. Paret Petroleum is the concession holder of 6,000 sq km of prospective oil land estimated to contain over 500 million barrels of light crude oil in recoverable reserves. The Paret Group operating through Paret Hospitality S.A. has also purchased a 7.2 million dollar beach front resort “Kaliko Beach” which is being converted to the first Hilton hotel in Haiti. The Paret Groups investments in the energy and tourism sectors of Haiti is said to create 2,000 new jobs for Haitian locals. |
