Pasco County Board of Commissioners Commends Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce |

Parchment awarded to Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce for their Shop Local First campaign. |

The Pasco County Board of Commissioners met on February 19, 2013 and awarded a parchment to the Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce commending the Chamber for initiating and promoting the "Shop Local First" campaign in Pasco County started on February 11, 2013.
The Board of Commissioners supports the Chambers efforts to highlight and support local businesses, urges the citizens of Pasco County to attend the "Community Spotlight Business Expo" event on March 15th and 16th, and to support local businesses year round.
Other areas of the country that have utilized the "Shop Local First" concept have experienced a decreased impact from the current economic recession by working together to enhance and support the local business environment.
