Portage Closes Financing With the MineralFields Group
ST. ANDREWS, NEW BRUNSWICK--(Marketwire - Aug. 31, 2011) - Portage Minerals Inc. ("Portage" or the "Company") (CNSX:RKX) announced today that it has closed $1.0 million non-brokered private placement with the MineralFields Group. The Company also closed an additional $311,259 with other investors as part of the first tranche of the non-brokered private placement as announced on August 18th 2011.
