Tara Powers, CEO of Powers Resource Center, is proud to announce that she has been chosen as a keynote speaker for the 2019 Colorado Society for Human Resource Management (COSHRM) conference in Keystone, Colorado in October. Under the conference theme of ‘Think Beyond,’ Powers will present on the critical skills leaders and teams need in the new virtual workplace. Powers is the author of Virtual Teams for Dummies and an expert in training virtual teams.
“I am thrilled for the opportunity to present on virtual teams to HR professionals in my home state of Colorado,” said Powers. “The rise of the virtual workforce has transformed the work place, and it has significantly impacted the talent requirements needed for success. This topic been my passion for the past several years and I am really looking forward to sharing my expertise at COSHRM this fall.”
2018 was a breakout year for Powers Resource Center, with the release of Virtual Teams for Dummies, the launch of its Virtual Team School and numerous other awards for leadership. After winning the 2019 ICON Contributor Award in January and being chosen as a COSHRM keynote speaker, it’ clear there is no slowing down in 2019.
The three-day COSHRM conference attracts more than 500 individuals from across Colorado and neighboring states to participate in keynote speakers, interactive sessions and practical workshops. The conference theme of ‘Think Beyond’ was selected to inspire and support attendees to be proactive and future-focused leaders while continuing to serve the daily needs of their organizations.
