As the year draws to a close Yorkshire Surveyors, www.housesurveyshuddersfield.co.uk is pleased to report continued growth in what remains a challenging economic environment. Positive feedback from our customers regarding the quality of our Building Surveys, Home Buyer Reports, Valuations, and the expert advice we give to solicitors seems to show we are doing the right thing, with steady growth, particularly in the Halifax area.
Our Building Survey and Home Buyer report prices have now been held for two years, and we have no plans to increase them, commitment to value without loss of quality being key to our philosophy.
The forecasts we made in early 2010 have been pretty much spot on, with a slight rebound in prices from the bottom in 2010, followed by a year of flatlining prices during 2011. Activity is increasing though, as mortgage products have started to become more readily available on the market and people seek opportunities to buy before the market starts to rise more strongly. We predict that barring any total economic disasters triggered by the Euro crisis, that 2012 will be fairly much the same as 2011, with potential buyers remaining cautious but open minded.
Feedback from purchasers in Halifax and Huddersfield very much points to the willingness to buy homes provided they are not paying too much for their new house, and they can get a decent deal on a mortgage. There is therefore clearly continuing demand for the independent, good quality, professional advice that we provide our customers.
