Punyam Academy, a leading organisation for ISO awareness and ISO auditor training on various international compliance standards, has successfully completed NABET Accreditation for its four-day training program on "Laboratory Management System Internal Audits as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017". The classroom training was started from 23rd October and ended on 26th October 2018, and 35 participants has successfully attended course and achieved certification for training.
The highlight of the course was NABET - NBQP assessments for this course, which Punyam Academy has successfully achieved. With this assessment, Punyam Academy becomes the only organization in Gujarat that achieved NABET Accreditation for 4 days course on ISO/IEC 17025 training. The auditor from NABET has attended this training program to audit training environments and trainers' knowledge for the subjects. At end of the successfully audit, they have recommended Punyam Academy for accreditation for 4 days training programs on laboratory management system and internal audit as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
The four-day ISO 17025 Auditor Training program in Ahmedabad, India was attended by 35 participants from national and international testing and calibration laboratories. The training was conducted by the highly experienced trainer Mr. S. Subramanian, has over 45 years of experience in testing lab assessments. The main focus of the training was to build competence in the internal auditor for ensuring effective implementation of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and NABL requirements. As per NABL policy for implementation of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, all the laboratories applications after 1st August 2018 must be as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
The ISO 17025 training program focused on creating awareness on the importance of accreditation in the testing and calibration laboratories with a global perspective, requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and accreditation body and their implementation, uncertainty of measurement, and requirements for internal audit. The training contents were delivered in an easy-to-understand and interactive way by experienced NABL auditor.
There was much space for the participants to share their views and learning. At the end of training program, certificates were awarded to all the participants. All the participants expressed satisfaction with the way they were trained.
