SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, is delighted to host a complimentary webinar, ‘Are you ready for CPSC eFiling?’ on July 30, 2024.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is transitioning to an online registration process for businesses selling regulated products in the US. Companies required to submit either a Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) or General Certificate of Conformity (GCC) are now able to do this through the CPSC’s new electronic filing (eFiling) system.
With the beta pilot phase ending in June 2024, registrations are now being invited for voluntary participation. eFiling of product safety certificates will take place through the Participating Government Agencies (PGA) Message Set, part of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system, and importers are urged to contact the CPSC as soon as possible to gain access to the product registry.
In a complimentary webinar, expert presenters Dr Min Zhu and Leo Yang will look at key features of the eFiling system and explain how early adoption will benefit businesses selling regulated products in the US. They will also offer information on how SGS’s eFiling solutions can help companies ensure successful compliance with the new eFiling system.
