New York NY - More than three hundred million people around the world can't afford a pair of eyeglasses and are unable to work or learn because they can't see clearly.
Launched in March 2009, the 'Buy One, Give One' charity program of SmartBuyGlasses aims to make a social impact by reducing the number of visually impaired people in the world.
SmartBuyGlasses works closely with carefully selected nonprofit organizations like Unite for Sight, OneSight or Lions Recycle for Sight to reduce the number of people in need of visual correction. By working with strong nonprofit partners in the field they are able to make a genuine and tangible benefit to the larger community. Individuals in need are able to receive the glasses they need to enable growth and learning within their respective communities.
SmartBuyGlasses is always seeking new ways to become more involved with the local community. Through their sponsorship program they search and cater to various community groups that strengthen their core values. Their sponsorship program assists those in real need and recognizes those who work hard in developing their talents for a better future.
Thanks to its customers, SmartBuyGlasses has donated $815,000 worth of eyeglasses since 2009 and it is close to reach its goal of donate $1,000,000 by June 2012. Whenever you purchase a pair of glasses from SmartBuyGlasses you are helping to reduce the number of visually impaired people globally.
