The Hot Mommas Project Founder Wins NAWBO of Greater DC's Inaugural Woman of Distinction Award

The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) of Greater DC honors Kathy Korman Frey with the 2011 Woman of Distinction Award.
During their June 9th annual meeting, The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) of Greater DC honored The Hot Mommas Project founder Kathy Korman Frey with its inaugural Woman of Distinction Award. NAWBO created the Woman of Distinction Award to recognize and show appreciation for women in the greater DC area who advance women's business in a meaningful way.

Two additional finalists for the award were recognized for their work at the luncheon: Nadja Giuffrida, Founder of Dextro Knowledge and Dextro Consulting and Kristina Tanasichuk, President and Founder of Women in Homeland Security and CEO of Government Technology & Services Coalition.

"NAWBO is the premiere membership organization for women business owners in the DC area. It's an honor to be recognized by this fantastic organization. To be given the very first award of it's kind here in DC is like being part of women's business history in DC. It's great," said Frey.
