About Timothy Snail
Timothy Snail, Ph.D., is a Vice President at Charles River Associates and a member of its Antitrust and Competition Economics practice. Dr. Snail is an economist specializing in antitrust, class actions and commercial damages matters. He has provided testimony in U.S. federal district court, state court, and in international arbitrations.

In class action matters, Dr. Snail has performed economic analyses of class certification relating to direct and indirect purchasers, merits, and damages for classes and opt outs. He has presented economic research on class certification and classwide damages, and commonly engages in antitrust and false advertising class actions.

Dr. Snail has published and presented on economic analysis in damages, class action and false advertising matters. Dr. Snail has taught courses in economics, econometrics, corporate finance and antitrust. He received a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in mathematics from the University of Chicago.
