CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - April 15, 2015) - TransAlta Renewables Inc. ("TransAlta Renewables" or the "Company") (TSX:RNW) today announced the completion of its previously announced bought deal offering of subscription receipts ("Subscription Receipts"). The Company, through a syndicate of underwriters led by CIBC and RBC Capital Markets as joint bookrunners, issued a total of 15,820,000 subscription receipts at a price of $12.65 per Subscription Receipt for gross proceeds of approximately $200 million (the "Offering"). TransAlta Renewables has also granted the underwriters an over-allotment option to purchase up to an additional 2,373,000 Subscription Receipts at the same price, exercisable in whole or in part, at any time 30 days following closing of the Offering. |
