Nemo James is a British singer-songwriter living half the year near Dubrovnik in Croatia and the other half near Brighton in the UK. He has been a professional musician for nearly 50 years and have released five albums in the last four years and six more archived albums from the 1990’s. His unique career path was the subject of his autobiography “Just a Few Seconds” which received excellent reviews.
Nemo James is running a campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds for his project “World Silly Walk and Dance Competition”. A street video competition based on Monty Python's "Ministry of Silly Walks" starring the general public. The public will be asked to submit videos with a chance to win $75 each for one of 15 funniest silly walks or $500 for the funniest silly dance. The silly dance will be played during the chorus in the hope that it will go viral and become a dance craze. In the event of overfunding the prize money will be increased.
Nemo says, “I am looking for investors to fund a worldwide silly walk and silly dance competition based on Monty Python's "Ministry of Silly Walks". Despite first being televised 49 years ago, silly walks are still being celebrated all over the world with organized street events. I want to bring the world together for the first time with music, dance and laughter and to offer a drug-free fight against the blues. Like the song says "You can't feel bad if you walk this way”.
