CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - 18 mars 2016) - TransCanada Corporation (TSX:TRP) (NYSE:TRP) (« TransCanada ou la Société ») a annoncé aujourd'hui la conclusion d'une entente avec un syndicat de preneurs fermes (les « Preneurs fermes »), dirigée par RBC Marchés des capitaux et Valeurs mobilières TD inc. et en vertu de laquelle les Preneurs fermes ont convenu d'acheter à TransCanada, et de vendre au public, 92 millions de reçus de souscription au prix de 45,75 $ par reçu, pour un produit brut total de 4,209 milliards de dollars (le « Placement »). Les reçus de souscription seront offerts au public au Canada et aux États-Unis par l'entremise des Preneurs fermes ou des membres de leur groupe.
